Couples and Individual Psychotherapy and Supervision in Seaford, East Sussex Online & Face to Face

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do you charge?

An initial consultation lasting one hour costs £75 (£60 for individuals), to be paid for at the end of the session. I would hope to be able to make an initial decision then about whether I can help, and if not I can refer you on elsewhere.

If we decide to work together I like clients to commit themselves to six sessions initially after which a further decision can be made about whether to continue. All sessions after the consultation cost £75 (£60 for individuals), last for an hour, and take place at the same time and place every week. Invoices are given monthly at the start of the last session of the month.

Where would we meet?

I work out of my practice address in High Street, Seaford, just off Broad Street. There is controlled parking in both the High Street and Broad Street (two minutes walk away) limited to two hours 8am to 6pm and you can almost always find a space free. There is further parking round the corner in East Street or Mercread Road (no restrictions).

Do we both need to come?

Yes, I work with both members of the couple in the room - that way they can both agree (or disagree!) with what is said. Seeing how you interact in real life is crucial.

How confidential is what we say?

Everything said is completely confidential, the only exceptions being those required by the UKCP Code of Ethics.

What happens when I make contact?

My practice mobile number and email are on every page, or see the "Contact me" page on this site. The mobile is often in answer mode, but I will return your call as soon as I am able. We can then talk about fees (there is some flexibility under certain circumstances) and to talk about when to meet if this is mutually agreeable. I ask people to pay for the first consultation afterwards, preferably online, then if we decide to undertake further sessions I invoice people monthly.
